Part Pre-Feeding Elevators
 
 
   
 

The CDS series of EL 2001 Part Elevators have been designed to improve the pre-feed flow of individual component parts presented for assembly and installation on automated machinery. CDS elevators provide controlled flow, which is necessary for optimal machine performance. They are designed to handle a wide variety of part sizes and shapes.

CDS part elevators can provide high loading performance in three model sizes: 60lts (2.1 cu.ft), 125lts (4.4 cu.ft) and 200lts (7 cu.ft). Rounded hopper bowls and corners eliminate sharp edges and comply with industry requirements for operator's safety during loading operations.

Available in sizes: 17.5, 7.0, 4.4, or 2.2 cu ft. hopper capacity.
All stainless steel (304) hopper, channel, chute, and elevator sides which are ideal for Medical
& Pharmaceutical parts
Ergonomic hopper designed for floor level loading and Operator's safety
Rounded edges and corners eliminate sharp edges which can injure operators and create fiber
contamination. Sanitary Seamless welds all around.
Caster wheels on base allow easy transport of elevator to work stations or thru standard size doorways
Hopper clean out doors on bottom front and back for quick product changeovers
Clear polycarbonate hinged doors on both hopper and elevator channel.
FDA approved PVC cleated elevating belt.
Elevator belt does not trap parts.
Variable speed AC motor drive in 120 VAC single phase or 230 VAC three phase.
Motor located below product hopper.
CDS Part Elevators are provided with the following Standard Equipment:
Stainless steel hopper with clear polycarbonate hinged door cover.
Safety proximity sensor to stop conveyor when the hopper door is open.
Quick-change part clean out panel below hopper on front side for easy operator access.
Stainless steel channel for part loading, provided with hinged clear polycarbonate door cover
and part clean out panel on rear side below hopper.
Scratch resistant steel support frame, painted gray, with locking caster wheels.
Other Optional Equipment:  
Safety proximity switch on elevator channel door cover.
Fiber optic sensor to detect low part levels.
Gas strut opener for hopper door
Safety proximity switch on the rear clean out panel
Pneumatic Flow Diverter on output
Dual Discharge Chutes on output
Extra capacity hoppers
Standoff legs on base for increased discharge height
Extra tall models for overhead part feeding.
