CDS Introduces the new TR 3000 - Largest Open Center Ring Indexing
and Transfer Systems on the market .
CDS delivers the first TR 3000 Open Center Ring Transfer cell. The TR 3000 is used for precise positioning of high speed molding cells for RFID devices. The 12 position Ring Transfer/Indexer utilizes a barrel cam to accurately position molding machines within a few thousandths of an inch at each station. Each molding machine weighs 2600 lbs. and the TR 3000 is designed to support 12 of these molding cells weighing a total of 31,200 lbs. Our customer's machine design required the TR 3000 have a free open center diameter of more than 7 feet to allow positioning and access for the customer's auxiliary equipment. The outer diameter of the TR 3000 is more than 13 feet and weighs more than 16 tons.
The TR 3000 is the biggest open Center Ring Transfer systems on the market and was manufactured from concept to delivery in less than 6 months.
