Rotary Indexers & Positioning Turntables for Robotic Work Cells

CDS designs and manufactures precise work positioning systems for robotic welding cells and other advanced systems in automated manufacturing. These robust indexing tables are utilized in robot work cells where around the clock 24/7 performance and reliability are a must.

CDS indexing tables & servo turntables are designed to meet the heavy duty, high production demands of robotic welding work cells by offering the following features.


•	Wide selection of 12 different models from 200 to 20,000 lb capacity.
•	Tables available in 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 station standard versions.
•	Cam Driven or Servo Controlled models with Smooth controlled acceleration and deceleration motions.
•	Highest accuracy & repeatability in the Industry.
•	Self-locking in dwell (will not back drive). Eliminating the need for expensive shot-pin or table locking mechanism
•	Machined cast iron housing surfaces provide convenient mounting surfaces for auxiliary control elements (proximity switches, trip flags, ejector mechanisms, etc).
•	Tooling mounting surface is guaranteed parallel to the bottom surface of the Indexer housing. Eliminates the need for time consuming shimming, grind spacers or jig grinding.
•	Cross-roller bearing construction (on all TR Series Indexers) provides: Max.tooling stability with minimal runout. Eliminate costly table outriggers & anvil supports Allows for generous through hole.
•	Bolt-in stationary center post construction allows special center post options at a minimal cost. Center post modifications do not impact delivery schedules.
•	Optional Input Torque Limiter offers superior Indexer protection. Minimizes potential for Indexer damage due to E-stops, crashes or jams.

We provide 12 different model sizes of Cylindrical Cam Driven or Servo Controlled Rotary positioners ranging in capacity from 200 pounds to 20,000+ pounds. The typical number of positional stations for a Cylindrical Cam Driven indexer include 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 positions, with other numbers of stations also available as standard. Whereas our Servo Controlled Rotary Tables provide flexible positioning for any number of stations. CDS has been supplying robotic manufacturing cells with our rotary indexers and servo turntables since the 1970’s and has thousands of units in the field.
